50 Plus

This course was designed for groups of more mature students, over 50 years old, who want to study English and who also have an interest in learning about the history and culture of the UK. English classes take place in the mornings. In the afternoons, there are organized trips to places of interest and outstanding beauty in and around Bath. (Individual students who are not part of a group may need to join one of our General English classes in the mornings).

English for Sales

This course was designed to develop the abilities of a group of salespeople to perform successfully in international business sales situations. As well as negotiating and telephoning skills, the course includes preparing and conducting a formal presentation which is video-recorded. All students are graded on their presentation and receive a copy of their presentation on DVD at the end of the course

Pre-Masters

This course was designed to help students prepare for a Masters degree in the UK. There are 2 main aims of the course:

(1) To help you secure your place by getting the relevant IELTS score.

(2) To prepare for university life by studying English for Academic Purposes. In the mornings, students join a General English class at Intermediate level or above. The afternoon classes deal with English for Academic Purposes, as well as providing preparation and practice for the IELTS examination.

Preparation for Royal Air Force Officer Training College

This programme was designed to raise the academic standards and language abilities of a group of cadets attempting to enter RAF Cranwell, one of the most prestigious military training colleges in the UK. The course aims to help students get the appropriate IELTS score to enter RAF Cranwell, as well as to prepare them for military life. In the mornings, students join a General English class at Intermediate level or above.
